About Us

The Hydrocephalus Family Support Group’s mission is to increase understanding and awareness and provide a forum for families to learn, voice concerns, and share experiences.  Hydrocephalus Family Support Group conducts meetings and holds fundraising activities to provide funding to The Hydrocephalus and Neuroscience Institute,  a local research organization started by Dr. Jogi Pattisapu.

 In particular, the Orlando based Neurosurgery office of Dr. Jogi Pattisapu, Dr. Christopher Gegg, and Dr. Greg Olavarria is very active in areas of education, research and guidance.  At present, funding for the hydrocephalus research falls primarily on the shoulders of the families who have been touched by this medical condition.  As the Hydrocephalus Lab make strides to better understand and ultimately cure this disorder, we can help by providing them with the financial resources necessary to conduct meaningful scientific research.
